About me
by becky
I live on a small farm in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, where I’ve spent many years surrounded by animals—both domestic and wild. Alongside my work as a dog groomer, I create detailed animal scenes in felt and clay, often featuring dogs among the mix of creatures and folkloric elements. It’s a hands-on, expressive craft that reflects my love for capturing personality, posture, and those little details that make each animal unique.
That same care and attention flows into my grooming. In 2024, I trained professionally and became a fully qualified dog groomer—and I haven’t looked back since. My background in sculpting gave me a steady hand, an eye for nuance, and a deep appreciation for the individuality of each dog I work with.
My aim is to make grooming a positive, stress-free experience—for both dogs and their humans. I work gently, with patience and care, and tailor every session to suit the individual dog’s needs, whether they’re full of bounce or need a little extra support. Their wellbeing always comes first.

I believe that every dog is unique. The connection we have with clients determines how the projects will look at the end of the grooming process. We must understand the clients and bond with them, be a part of their dream. Their dream is our dream.
